Display Current details only – When choosing this option the template attached to the licence type will only generate with the current licence information and no version history option will be able to be chosen when generating.

Display Full Details – When this option is selected in the configuration for a specific template type, and the template is subsequently associated with a licence type, a new feature becomes available during template generation for that licence. Once a licence is granted, applications are submitted against it, and a template type name has been selected, the system will present a "Licence Version" dropdown field next to the chosen template name.

This dropdown will display a comprehensive list of all versions associated with the licence, including the type of each application and the corresponding effective and expiry dates. By selecting a particular application and date from this list and generating the template, the output of the template will be customized to include only the information relevant to the chosen application instance.

Configuration –

1. Click on Documents ->  Manage Configuration -> Document Templates on the left-hand side of

the screen. 

2.All the Document Templates in the system are shown on the Document Templates page.  

3.Click to create or edit a template and configure as needed. Once on the “Template Details” tab of

the configuration input all mandatory details and choose the “Template Type” as Licence. Click on

the drop down “Template Data Display” and choose “Display Full details”.

4. Make the effective date today and save the Template Type.

5. Configure the template type to a licence type and make the licence type current.

6. Create a licence for that licence type and proceed to make applications for renewals, entitlement

transfers etc against the current licence.

7. Once complete, go to the documents tab in the Licence.

8.      Choose a document template type and choose a licence version to base the template information

off and click generate.

9.      Click to download the template and open the template up and view the information inside

ensuring it is has generated to the correct information selected.
