Editing an entitlement scheme

1.     Locate the Entitlement Scheme to be edited.

2.     Click on the “Edit” icon in the Action column.

3.     The Management Plan will open on the Entitlements tab with the selected Scheme version

displayed.

4.     If the version of the Scheme selected has no Effective Date (Draft) or the Effective Date is in the

future (Future), then this version of the Scheme may be altered except for the Scheme Ref and the

Version.

5.     This version of the Plan may also be Discarded, in which case it will never have any effect in the

system.

6.     If the version of the Scheme selected has an Effective Date of today or earlier, and no End Date or

the End Date is in the future (Current), then only the End Date may be altered. Other changes to the Scheme required a “New Version” of the plan to be created.

7.     This version of the Scheme may be Archived which will set the End Date to today with the current

time so that this version of the Scheme is no longer available and cannot be edited further.

8.     A New Version of a Scheme can only be created from the last version of the Scheme. It will be a

copy of that version of the Scheme with no Effective Date or End Date; the same Scheme Ref,

Name, Species, Fishery Region and next incremental version number all of which cannot be edited.
