Close a Complaint

1.Click on Compliance drop down in left hand side of the screen and click on complaints.

2.If a complaint has a status of received, open, under investigation or referral pending the complaint

can be closed.

3.Click on a complaint ref with one of the above statuses.

4.A checklist tab will be displayed if the compliance type has them configured.

5.In the top right hand corner, locate and click on the close complaint button. A new tab called

outcomes will appear.

6.In the outcomes tab, a drop down for a mandatory closure reason will be displayed and an

outcomes text box will also be displayed.

7. Populate the drop down with a closure reason and if the record requires it, fill in the optional

outcomes text box.

8.Re click on the Close Complaint button in the top right hand corner.

9.The status will change to display as Closed and the complaint will be closed.
