Search for a document

1.Click on Documents -> Documents on the left-hand side. 

2.Documents search page is shown. 

3.The Search field accepts text which will be used for a case insensitive partial match against the

following columns values: 

a.Document Name

b.Create By – Navigate Cloud or name of officer who created the document 

4.Type in text in the search bar, click “Enter” or the magnifying glass. 

5.The list filters to text searched for. 

6.The “Advanced Filters” can be expanded when required by selecting the down arrow at the right of

the field. The options are:

a.     Object Type – select from:

i.     Application – adds extra filters:

1.     Application Process Ref

2.     Status

3.     Licence Holder Name

4.     Received From date

5.     Received To Date

ii.      Licence – adds extra filters:

1.     Licence Ref

2.     Status

3.     Licence Holder Name

4.     Issued From Date

5.     Issued To Date

6.     Licence Type Area

7.     Licence Type Name

iii.      Person – adds extra filters:

1.     Person Ref

2.     Name

3.     Address

iv.      Organisation – adds extra filters:

1.     Organisation Ref

2.     Name

3.     ABN

4.     ACN

5.     Address

6.     Phone

v.      Place – adds extra filters:

1.     Formatted Address

2.     Type

3.     Class

vi.     Project – adds extra filters:

1.     Project Ref

2.     Project Name

3.     Project Type

4.     Effective From Date

5.     Effective To Date

vii.      Boat – adds extra filters:

1.     Boat Name

2.     Registration

b.    Document Status

c.    Document Type – select from:

i.      Correspondence

1.     Template Name

ii.      Attachment

1.     Document Category

d.     Parent Context – only used when Object Type is selected. Indicates that only the parent

Object Type will be matched against the extra fields that are displayed for the chosen Object

Type, otherwise all associated records of the chosen Object Type will be matched against the

extra fields.

f.       Create To

g.     Last Printed From

h.     Last Printed To

i.       Last Printed By

j.       Printed

k.     Emailed

7.     Click “Enter” or the magnifying glass.

8.     The Documents will be shown after the list filters to the selected criteria.

9.     To view a Document Info, click on the “i” icon in the Actions column.

10.From the Details tab you can go to the associated Object via the hyperlink in the Origin field which

will open in a new window/tab.

11.From the Details tab you may open the document via the ‘Open Document >’ link which will open in

a new window/tab.

12.To open the document in a separate window/tab, click on the icon and the document will open in

the associated application.

13. Alternately if the “open in another tab isnt available” click on the download button and it will

download the document into word.
