Document Templates

1.Click on Documents ->  Manage Configuration -> Document Templates on the left-hand side

menu of the screen.

2.All the Document Templates in the system are shown on the Document Templates page.

3.The Search field accepts text which will be used for a case insensitive partial match against the

following columns values:

a.Name

b.Template Ref

c.Template Name.

4.Type in text in the search bar, click “Enter” or the magnifying glass.

5.The list filters to text searched for.

6.The “Advanced Filters” can be expanded when required by selecting the down arrow at the right of

the field. The options are:

a.Effective From 

b.Effective To 

c.Ended From 

d.Ended To 

e.Template Type

f.Document Template Group

g.Is Publishable

h.Show History.

7.Click “Enter” or the magnifying glass.

8.The document templates will be shown after the list filters to the selected criteria.

9.Click on the edit symbol under the “Actions” column to edit the Document Template.

 

Create a document template

1.      Click on Documents ->  Manage Configuration -> Document Templates on the left-hand side

menu of the screen.

2.      “Document Templates” search page is shown, click on the “New Document Template” button in

the top right corner.

3.The “Create Document Template” page is shown.

4.In the Template Details tab enter the attributes for the template.

5.Choose an effective date and click “Save”.

6.A success message will appear, click “Close”.

7.If the effective date is a future date the template will remain with a “Draft” status otherwise it will

have a “Current” status.

8.The text for the template should now be uploaded or created in the Document Template tab.

9.Once this is complete, click “Save”.

10.The completed template may be downloaded if it has been created in the tab or edited since

uploading so that a backup is kept.

11.To return to the Document Template Search form click “Back to results”.
