External User
1. Click on the “Edit” icon.
2.A new user will not have the mandatory First Name and Surname set.

3.They will have the default role of “External User” with no permissions.
4.If they have started a licence application and entered the person details, then a Person record will
have been created and linked to this user, even if they have cancelled the application.
5.If they have not started a licence application, then the Officer with Support Officer or Internal
Admin role can link the user to an existing Party record.
6.An inactive user may not be assigned to any licensing activities while flagged as inactive.
Internal User (Officer)
1. Click on the “Edit” icon.

2. An Officer may be flagged as a Manager by checking the “Is Manager” box.
3. An Officer may have a Manager assigned by typing ahead in the Manager field, the list of matching
Officer names will be displayed to choose one from.
4. A default Officer must be assigned.
5. Multiple alternate offices may be assigned.
6. An Officer Position may be assigned by typing ahead in the Officer Position field, the list of
matching Position names will be displayed to choose one from.
7. An Officer may be marked as Active (default)
8. An Officer may have their account locked so that they may not log in.
