Details Tab:

Name - This field allows the user to type in a unique name which determines what the licence type name is.

 

Legislative Name - The Legislative Name refers to the official title or name.

 

Reference Prefix - This is text that will go before the auto generated licence ref.

 

Reference Suffix - This is text that will go after the auto generated licence ref.

 

Area - This drop down determines what area the licences created using this licence type type will fall under.

 

Effective Date - An effective date can be chosen and determines when the licence against the licence type will become active and effective.

 

End Date - An end date determines when a licence using the licence type is not longer active and current, when that date is reached the licence will expire.

 

Expiry Notice Days - This is a number of days that a user who has a licence under this type will get a notice about when their licence will expire.

 

Act - This drop down determines which act the licence belongs to.

 

Section - Section of the selected Legislative Act that applies to this licence type.

 

External Ref - Unique reference text for this licence type.

 

Terminology - Name of the instrument being applied for e.g. licence, permit, certificate etc. Used in licence documentation and correspondence.

 

Max. Licence Holder - This count which can be toggled to add or subtract determines how many separate licences holders can hold the same licence when applying for it.

 

Version - The version count keeps track of how many different versions have been made of that licence type. The higher the number the more licence versions have been created.

 

Renewals Allowed - When checked indicates that this licence type undergoes an expiry and renewal process. Adds another "Renewals" block which consists of Notice Days, Reminder Days, Unpaid Fees Stop Renewals, Grace Period Days.

 

Automatically Grant - When checked, this licence type is automatically granted when all the applications validity checks are completed. No internal user step may be needed.

 

Is External - This check box when checked will display the licence type to an external user with no internal permissions. If the checkbox is not checked the licence type will not be displayed to external users and will only be able to be chosen for an internal user.
